The thing this site is for is free, permanently and without an account. What a membership buys is memory and scale.

Why the free part is the whole product

Charging for the scan would be gating the step before the one worth paying for. Reading a label is the demonstration; keeping a searchable history of every label you have read, scanning two hundred images at once, and calling the same pipeline from your own code are the things worth money — and none of them make sense to somebody who has not tried the first.

What does free include?

The camera, uploads, image-to-text, and a few language-model descriptions a day. Bring your own model key and the description lane is uncapped too.

Is there a separate plan for this site?

No. It rides the existing Leumas membership — Starter, Pro or Unlimited — so nobody buys a second subscription for one tool on a platform they already pay for.
